I have just completed my second block of sessions with Nicola and could not recommend her more. Each class is well planned with clear progression and really enjoyable. Her home studio is a wonderful space to be in and is easily accessible. I decided to try Pilates to help with my on going lower back pain and I have been really impressed with the improvements I have seen in such a short space of time. The small class sizes enable Nicola to easily adapt to individual needs, with elements of challenge thrown in too! Thank you Nicola for making me so welcome and I am looking forward to the next block of sessions already 😊

When I started Pilates, with Nicola, a year ago I had little to no sensation in my feet or legs and was having to relearn how to walk due to significant nerve damage in my lower back. A year on, 70% of my leg and feet sensation is back. Some sensation came back during a Pilates class! Also, I just completed a 10 mile hike, without any pain symptoms and I truly believe my recovery is going so well because of Pilates with Nicola. During the classes Nicola gives helpful advice regarding the types of stretches and strengthening moves so, for example, during my recent hike I was able to do stretches, such as The Mermaid, to stretch out my lower back in order to avoid it tightening. I feel in control of my body again and I know I’m getting stronger every week. Nicola’s classes, I believe, have significantly contributed to an improvement in my quality of life and wellbeing and I would highly highly recommend her classes.

Nicola is an amazing Pilates teacher, and is very mindful of individual needs during the classes.
She has made it possible to continue the sessions in a COVID safe manner by using a much bigger room, well ventilated and with mats laid out a long way from each other. I feel safer in the Pilates class than I do in a shop, as Nicola has controlled the environment so well.
My dodgy, damaged spine owes Nicola a debt of gratitude for the years of great classes which keep me mobile.

Nicola is a great instructor, she pays attention to detail throughout the class and adjusts them for individual ability. She is also really lovely which certainly helps! Highly recommend her, I really feel good after my weekly classes.

Nic is really great - she makes you feel at ease, whatever level you are and tailors the class to suit individuals. Her 1-1 session was really helpful and she didn't bat an eyelid at the very unfit person she was working with! Always feel relaxed and empowered after her sessions and can already feel a difference.
